Well it all depends on what teen it is i mean for me my freinds do allot of camps and stuff so there always gone except like laura so i usually home allot but find things to do by your self get a job or clean up around the house go for a walk!

I don’t go out with my friends in the summer. We all sort of lose communication, except with three of my friends – two of them (twins) aren’t allowed out so we can only email, and the other one is pretty annoying but if I’m desperate for social contact…
I like being by myself, and while I’m not necessarily at my home a lot in the summer, I’m around it or not with friends.

That’s completely normal. Some people go to the beach and go to parties and go to the park all week during the summer. Some people relax, take it easy, and enjoy not having to do anything. I’m exactly the same as you. Don’t worry about it.

I do the same thing. I’m at home most of the time and rarely do things with friends. I don’t know if it’s normal either, but I’m just saying I’m the same way, so you aren’t the only one.

its totally normal for a teen to be like this but not all the time most of the teens i know are hardly ever home and im normally home all the time. so i felt the same.

It sounds strange but that’s sounds pretty normal to me. Some days of holidays are OK to be spent lazing around home and others to go outside and enjoy life. In my opinion a holiday isn’t meant to be spent everyday being totally on the go (that’s for working or at school). But on the other hand its not healthy to stay inside the whole holiday, balance is the key.
