Is there any pre-teen home christian bible study and/or christian activity online for free?

Maggie asked:

I would like a home bible study to do with my 11 year old. Please give me a link or write the website.
I thank you so much!

There sure is. I learned much about the Bible from this site. And there is also a lot of information that pertains to young people that is Bible based.

You can receive a visit in your home, free of charge.
Or you can look up free articles on that site to study with your child.

    How about this one:

Beware of the Watchtower web site as one person suggested that is the web site of the Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Hi, I haven’t a link but meanwhile what we found useful is to read scripture in context.

For instance, pick any verse and put it in historical context. Like why did they say/think that? Who,
    When how, why, what?

Then put the same verse in today’s context. Like how would this apply today?

Thirdly, how would this apply in my life? And how can I utilize the understanding I have now, with the biblical knowledge, in my own life?

Reading the bible like this, it starts to interpret itself and one does not have to rely on church doctrine but have the Word of God work in our life on a daily basis. As we believe it was meant to be.

For instance in Exodus 20 God says, Do not kill. Yet all through history people have (and are) killed in His name.
But by starting to read the bible at the beginning and understanding that God means what He says, we start to realize that anyone (in bible times or in todays world) committing atrocious acts in God’s name clearly either hasn’t read their bible. Or if they claim to have read it, they obviously don’t understand it. God says, Do not kill.

So yeah, sorry, no link. But maybe some useful info to keep in the back of your mind when reading the bible and not just to take anyone’s word for however they choose to interpret the bible.
